Automated HR access, a portal about 70% cheaper to host
The need: automate the synchronisation between the HR system, access badges and the catering provider, a synchronisation that involves personal data, and modernise a bilingual internal portal (careers and skills).
What I did: I designed the integration of the HR system, the badge system and the provider over the existing service bus, and the move of the portal to a containerised platform.
Outcome: automated synchronisation; portal hosting costs down about 70% (measured).
Environment: SuccessFactors, IBM service bus, containers.
202 business processes migrated, all reusable
The need: move a catalogue of business processes out of Camunda.
What I did: I built a scripted, repeatable migration into a central process catalogue spanning several domains.
Outcome (measured): 202 processes migrated, 100% converted and reusable.
Environment: BPMN 2.0.
A costed GDPR target for the right to be forgotten
The need: apply the right to be forgotten to customer contact data in the master data repository.
What I did: I ran a study of five costed options, worked on data minimisation and defined a CRM-centred target architecture.
Outcome: the initiative moved forward on a reasoned, costed target.
Environment: Informatica MDM, CRM.
Spare parts: a three-day recovery target
The need: the parts platform, connected to about 135 interfaces, had to recover within three days after a disaster: the target set by management.
What I did: I designed the backup and disaster-recovery architecture across all interfaces, backup scope included. I also designed the architecture for just-in-time parts logistics: automatic parts ordering from repair orders, with no local stock at dealers, for a project costing more than €1M.
Outcome: an architecture that meets the three-day recovery target.
Environment: Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
One development platform and an AI coding assistant (in progress)
The need: bring development tooling onto one platform and introduce an AI coding assistant.
What I do (since 2026): I support the move to GitHub, the rollout of GitHub Copilot Enterprise to the teams, code quality (SonarQube, OWASP, Dependabot), usage rules and adoption.
Environment: GitHub, GitHub Copilot Enterprise, SonarQube, OWASP, Dependabot.

Gas infrastructure operator: cloud direction and an HR integration redesign
The need: a regulated gas infrastructure operator wanted to evolve its HR integration model and structure its cloud landscape.
What I did: I reviewed the cloud landscape and set an evolution roadmap; I designed the full redesign of the HR integration model around an API-centric architecture, with a decommissioning plan for the existing setup, and followed the project; I wrote the cloud platform guidance for new projects. In 2023, I ran a structured evaluation of LLMs for IT: code and test generation, user-story quality.
Outcome: guidance that steers platform choice for new projects, and AI use cases grounded in evidence.
Environment: Microsoft Azure, APIs, ChatGPT.
Network operator: mobility, identity and innovation
The need: a regulated electricity and gas distribution operator in Wallonia was renewing its mobile apps and its corporate website.
What I designed: the cloud hosting architecture for the mobile apps, with GDPR handling, security controls and one identity solution for internal and external users. Innovation projects: machine-learning forecasts of power production and consumption, network and consumer energy flexibility, electric-vehicle smart charging. For the new corporate website: analysis of the existing landscape, target platform, CMS and frontend choices.
Environment: Microsoft Azure, Azure AD B2C, machine learning.

A connected autoinjector and its companion app
The need: a connected autoinjector and its companion app, itself a medical device, to be designed within the regulatory framework for medical devices and health data.
What I did: I covered every IT aspect: solution architecture, cloud hosting, integration and data flows, security and compliance.
Outcome: the solution was delivered, and the autoinjector received its CE mark in 2021.
Framework: EU medical device regulation, IEC 62304, GxP, GDPR (health data).
A shared foundation for new projects
The need: the group wanted shared hosting for its new projects, on public platforms subject to GDPR and GxP rules.
What I did: I standardised a replicable hosting platform with security and operations built in, and added shared capabilities: email and SMS, API management, web application firewall, medical-image storage. I led a team of four architects on this foundations layer.
Outcome: the platform became the baseline for new projects.
Environment: Azure Kubernetes (AKS), Linkerd, GitOps, Azure DevOps, Terraform.
