Long-term assignment
Time and materials, around one year, full time. This is the format I prefer.
Short assignments
From a few days to a few weeks: architecture review, costed option study, audit of a platform or an integration architecture.
Advisory
Ongoing and part time: an architect’s perspective for a CTO, a CIO or an architecture team, at a pace we agree on.
- Area: Walloon Brabant, Namur, Charleroi, Brussels; elsewhere in Belgium with a large share of remote work.
- Working languages: French, English, Dutch.
Roles that interest me
I am most useful when the role covers both the target architecture and hands-on design, with a strategic scope. For long-term assignments, the priorities are:
- Lead or Principal Solution Architect, leading a team of architects or developers;
- Head of Architecture, interim or long-term, in a mid-sized organisation;
- a technical leadership role such as CTO or Head of IT, on an interim basis, in an organisation where technology is central to the business and the culture is open.
I am also open to shorter review and advisory assignments (see above).
